You can ask us to delete the personal information that Qelo holds about you in connection with SlipStack at any time. This page explains how, what gets deleted, and how long it takes.
How to request deletion
- Email us at info@qelo.co.za from the email address linked to your account, with the subject line "Data deletion request".
- Include the WhatsApp number and business name registered with SlipStack so we can verify your identity.
- We'll confirm receipt, verify the request, and delete your data within 30 days — then email you to confirm it's done.
You can also send STOP to SlipStack on WhatsApp at any time to stop all messaging, then follow up by email to delete your stored data.
What we delete
- Your account and contact details (name, business name, WhatsApp number, email).
- Receipt photos and extracted receipt data held in our systems.
- Your WhatsApp message history with SlipStack held by us.
- Stored integration authorisation (OAuth) tokens for Google and your accounting system.
Please note what we can't delete for you: Receipts already filed into your own Google Drive and entries posted to your own accounting system (Xero, Sage) live in your accounts, under your control — not ours. You'll need to remove those from those services directly. You can also revoke SlipStack's access from your Google and accounting account settings at any time.
What we may need to keep
We may retain a limited amount of information where the law requires it (for example, records needed for tax, accounting or to resolve disputes). We keep only what's necessary, for only as long as required, and then delete it.
